The number one airline in the U.S. who are performing the necessary cleaning procedures is Delta. At the check-in they provide stations for hand sanitizers, signs that say to social distance and floor markers. Similarly to some supermarkets and retail stores, there are acrylic barriers between workers and people checking in. Along with everyone else, people have to wear a face mask when going in. For boarding, there is a decision made by the flight crew and gate agents if they feel the plane is not thoroughly cleaned, they must contact the cleaning crew to return. Delta's workers have been cleaning their planes everyday and overnight for each flight. They use electrostatic sprayers to clean the tables and overhead bins. All of these actions by Delta are supportive towards ensuring everyone's safety and protection for themselves.
